indie apps · one dad · zero venture capital

Apps made after bedtime.

iOS and Android apps built by one dad, mostly companions for the games I actually play, occasionally whatever else sounds fun. Small, useful, and made with more care than free time.

the story

Why "DadMadeAnApp"?

By day I work in IT. By night, once the kids are in bed, I build apps and play games. Mostly companions for the mobile and PC games I sink my own hours into, because if a tool I want doesn't exist, I'd rather build it than wait for someone else to.

The cat? My wife drew it. The mismatched eyes stuck, so now the whole site runs on blue and pink. Every app that ships from here gets built, tested, and shipped by one person who also had to find a missing shoe this morning.

No ads-first design, no dark patterns, no selling your data. Just small apps that do their job.

  • Builds Native iOS first, Android when it makes sense
  • Fueled by Coffee, strategy games, and nap-time silence
  • Testing Real devices on the kitchen table
  • Logo Drawn by my wife, colored by the kids' approval
  • Motto Built by a gamer, for gamers
